Acupuncture for Diabetes

I’m having good results treating a patient with Gestational Diabetes. She is 8 mos. pregnant, and her blood sugar registered 97 recently. Her doctor told her she would need to go on insulin &/or Glyburide if it didn’t go back down and stay away from the 100 mark.  We began the acupuncture protocol for managing blood sugar in type 2 diabetics, and since the first treatment, her blood sugar hasn’t gone above 90!

Each treatment seems to last for a couple of days, so the acupuncture is best when administered two times per week.
